About RPM

The Portuguese Journal of Musicology (RPM) is published in partnership with two research centres of the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences at NOVA University Lisbon: CESEM – Centre for Music Studies and INET-md – Institute of Ethnomusicology: Centre for Studies in Music and Dance.

This peer-reviewed journal welcomes submissions of articles covering all areas of music research. It is published online twice a year and features thematic dossiers and research articles, as well as reviews of books, sound recordings, and other digital media.

Portuguese and English are the preferred languages of publication, although articles in Spanish, French, and Italian are also accepted. The journal is currently indexed in RILM, ERIH PLUS, LATINDEX, and DIALNET.
